Born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on November 26 the 26th of November, 1986. She is the child of her dad Vincenzo and mother Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved from Point Pleasant, New Jersey at the age of six. She completed her secondary schooling in New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. The schooling continued in Catholic University where she earned an undergraduate degree in architecture. From the age of 4, she began to play the violin, earning her the name Violin Girl. Her performances led to being nicknamed Violin Girl. She taught violin lessons to children in the neighbourhood. At the age of nineteen, she appeared on the sixth season of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free. The singer was then removed from the show after achieving 16th place. The singer has performed on several tracks like 2009's "The Christmas Song' and 2010's Out for Blood. She has also appeared on television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!
