Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake (born July 23 of 1976) is a NASCAR correspondent and basketball and college football reporter for Fox Sports. She was previously employed by ESPN in which she served as an ESPN SportsCenter contributor to provide posts-game and pre-game information. She also served as a sideline reporter for ESPN's SEC in ESPN basketball and college football games. Spake was also a reporter on SEC Network (owned by ESPN). Before coming to ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she co-hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June until November 2005) as well as a reporter on the show's first (February through the month of June in 2005). Back Seat Drivers was also hosted by Spake as well as Marty Smith. She has held previous positions in the broadcasting industry for WCCB, Charlotte, North Carolina as well as Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
